Status: Development

The Egyptian International Trade Point (EITP) established at 1994 according to Untied Nation Conference Trade and Development (UNCTAD), became a member of the World Trade Point Federation (WTPF) in 2000. Due to the was tremendous achievements in developing electronic services in trade, EITP selected as a one of the best five trade point in world.

Egyptian International Trade Point (EITP) is a governmental sector, a non-profit organization in the field of e-commerce, e-promotion for Egyptian products, services and investments via web sites and e-networks.

  • EITP is an effective member of World Trade Point Federation (WTPF) as a Strategic Expert for the Federation.
  • EITP is an effective member in African Alliance for E-Commerce (AACE).
  • EITP had an award for the best governmental web sites in Egypt for year 2009.
1. e-TradeID

Access to the eTradeID introduced to bring a higher level of security to all parties involved in a transaction. A digital identity bringing a unique credential that can be used to access to WTPF services.

2. Electronic Trade Opportunities (ETO Trust)

Provides access to the ETO Trust system of WTPF, which allows certified SMEs to post and receive selling and buying leads of products and services of the member companies of the Trade Points and e-TradeDesks.

3. Trade Research

Undertakes market research for entering into new markets.

4. Trade Mission Visits

Logistical support and meeting arrangements for trade missions for member companies.

5. Trade Information

Assistance to members in their various trade information requirements.
