Meeting with China Association of International Trade (CAIT), Beijing, 2-3 April 2025
WTPF delegation led by Chairman Bruno Masier met with Mr. Jin Xu, Chairman of the China Association of International Trade (CAIT) to discuss the strategic lines of cooperation between both organizations.
WTPF and CAIT (the Executive Committee on Economic and Trade Exchange of Euroasian Enterprise) signed a cooperation agreement for the implementation of the business development programme to expand and consolidate the network of e-Trade desks projects in the Asia Pacific region. The agreement was signed with Mr. Zhang Hezhen, Chairman of CAIT’s Euroasia Committee.
This expansion coincides with the launch of a new battery of services to enhance the insertion of SMEs worldwide, making use of information technologies, through Trade Points and e-Trade desks.
Asia Pacific remains a vital region in this process due to the large participation of its SMEs in cross-border electronic commerce.
A business plan proposal was presented for the business development programme including a market analysis, business information exchange channels and partnership development.
