Global Alliance for Trade in Services (GATIS)

The Global Alliance for Trade in Services (GATIS) is an international organization designed to promote the development and cooperation of global trade in services. Its primary objective is to strengthen countries’ capacities to participate in international service markets, foster global economic integration, and facilitate sustainable growth in this key sector.

The WTPF is a founding member of the Alliance based in Beijing and created at the initiative of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government. In addition, the president of the WTPF was elected vice president of GATIS, which allows us to maintain intense participation and collaboration.

GATIS collaborates with governments, businesses, international organizations, and other entities to foster dialogue and cooperation. Its membership includes countries as well as institutions specializing in the services sector.
