Trade Point Beijing (TP Beijing), under the direct management of Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, was set up in 1992 and grew out of an innovative programme called “Global Trade Point Network” of the UNCTAD.

Trade Point Beijing is hosted by Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau. With the principal “combination of government departments and chambers of commerce and enterprises”, “combination of domestic and foreign trade promotion agencies”, “combination of online and offline trade promotion activities”, TP Beijing is committed to strengthen the communication with international organizations like UNCTAD, Embassies in China, chambers of commerce and enterprises; to build the “Beijing international economic and trade cooperation network system” covering the main countries and regions around the world; to strengthen the construction of economic and trade promotion system by holding activities like “Into the Embassy”; to organize enterprises participating in the domestic and foreign exhibitions like “Canton Fair”; to organize CIFTIS distribution sector and to hold the international forum on creative economy and the international symposium on geographical indications (country of origin) product brand distribution service (GIDS). The economic and trade promotion activities organized by TP Beijing has become branding, internationalized and professional; the channel of international economic and trade cooperation has been broadened which has promoted the construction of a new open economy system in Beijing.

Servicios

1. e-Trade ID

Access to the e-Trade ID introduced to bring a higher level of security to all parties involved in a transaction. A digital identity bringing a unique credential that can be used to access to WTPF services.

2. Electronic Trade Opportunities (ETO Trust)

Provides access to the ETO Trust system of WTPF, which allows certified SMEs to post and receive selling and buying leads of products and services of the member companies of the Trade Points and e-Trade Desks.

3. Trade Research

Undertakes market research for entering into new markets.

4. Trade Mission Visits

Logistical support and meeting arrangements for trade missions for member companies.

5. Trade Information

Assistance to members in their various trade information requirements.
