About
Shanghai electronic commerce promotion center (Trade Point Shanghai) is an Institution directly under Shanghai municipal people’s government
Based on electronic commerce, the core of the center is on innovation models, management, technology and services. The target of the center is to support the development of Shanghai electronic commerce and aims to make Shanghai an excellent and exemplary city for e-commerce in China. The electronic commerce will also improve Shanghai’s position as an international trade center. Meanwhile, it will also support Shanghai working together with Yangtze River delta area in the field of e-commerce.
The Shanghai international Trade Center platform which is developed and operated by the center, is the support project required by Shanghai government. Based on the requirement to establish Shanghai as an international trade center, the platform’s main target is to service, support and lead the e-commerce activity. Meanwhile, the platform could share information and resources of Shanghai. The platform supports Shanghai as the international trade center on the internet.
Services
1. e-Trade ID
Access to the e-Trade ID introduced to bring a higher level of security to all parties involved in a transaction. A digital identity bringing a unique credential that can be used to access to WTPF services.
2. Electronic Trade Opportunities (ETO Trust)
Provides access to the ETO Trust system of WTPF, which allows certified SMEs to post and receive selling and buying leads of products and services of the member companies of the Trade Points and e-TradeDesks.
3. Trade Research
Undertakes market research for entering into new markets.
4. Trade Mission Visits
Logistical support and meeting arrangements for trade missions for member companies.
5. Trade Information
Assistance to members in their various trade information requirements.
